Little Pal

Description

This is the silliest shot ever. The little chipmunk turned up at our campsite and explored everything, finally finding the extinguished campfire from last night. The chipmunk jumped into it and ran inside the fire ring, getting itself covered in ash and sneezing, finally jumping onto the fire ring rim to chew on a little piece of charcoal from a burned branch. We had the best time photographing the little guy, and his ash covered whiskers keep making us smile years after that camping trip.
